Morning & Afternoon Elixirs
Although they sound simple, elixirs can be a very powerful detox tool. They are an amazing way to start your day and great for boosting energy mid-day. The morning elixir is designed to stimulate digestion, releases toxins from the liver and is loaded with vitamin C for adrenal support. This drink often becomes a staple for most detoxers long after the detox program because it’s SO effective.
Simple Detox Tools
Whether you consider yourself a newbie or an experienced detoxer, we have tools for you! Our goal is for everyone to try something new, and even better, for one of those new habits to become a part of your daily routine. The daily detox tools will help to support your detoxificiation pathways and set you up for success when trying to balance hormones and lose weight.
Although not required, probiotics (or probiotic-rich foods) are highly suggested during the detox. Live enzymes and live probiotics can naturally cleanse your colon, but the Western diet is sadly lacking in these foods, which is why we often recommend supplementation. Since we have 10 times more bacteria cells in our body than human cells, it is important to make sure we are feeding the good bacteria too!
3 Daily Meals & Snacks
You will never feel deprived during this detox program. The goal is not for you to feel hungry, count calories or cut portion sizes. Instead, we will be loading up with nutrient-dense meals that eliminate the top known food sensitivities. The recipes are designed by a professional chef and you get to add a protein of your choice.
Juicing and Smoothies
In the recipe guide, you will find 10 fabulous juice recipes to renew your cells and give your digestion a break. Even just having one fresh juice a day will give you a boost of energy and further aid in the detoxification process. Combining these with easy-to-digest and in-season foods, as well as the daily detox tools will give you the best detox results.
Emotional Detox Tools
We leave no stone unturned in this program! We’ll help you go deeper in your physical and emotional detox, too. How it Works
Our detox program is broken into 3 key phases. Let’s look at each of them in detail:
Pre-Detox Phase: 4 Days
In the first 4 days of the program, we will focus on weaning off of certain foods and drinks that aren’t a part of the detox process. This is the time to start cutting back on caffeine, reducing processed foods and stocking your fridge with nutrient dense foods that you will find in your recipe guide and shopping list. During the first four days, be sure to read through all of the guides and purchase any detox tools or probiotics that you’d like to aid your detox experience.
Detox Phase: 7 Days
The Pre-Detox phase is followed by 7 days of detox. This is what we call the elimination phase. We will be removing the the most common food sensitivities and food combinations that are known to cause inflammation and irritate the lining of the gut.
Re-Introduction Phase: 7 Days
This is the most important part of the detox, but also the hardest phase to stick to. We will be adding one new food back in every two days and you will be provided with a food journal to keep track of any foods that cause a reaction. Reactions may be very subtle (such as lower energy levels) or could be more obvious (such as bloating, stomachaches or headaches). You will be encouraged to write this down in your journal.
The detox guide includes a re-introduction plan, but we’ve found that many detoxers choose to extend this period or change the order of re-introduction. The first foods we suggest adding are the foods that you suspect could be causing a reaction so that you can test for that early on.

As they say on a plane, put your air mask on first before taking care of others. This applies to health, too! An unhealthy, exhausted and burnt out parent, friend or co-worker is not going to be any good to their family, friends or colleagues. It is not selfish to put your health first, it is necessary!

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I start? Is there a group start date?
We used to have a group start date, but don’t do that anymore because we beleive that women to should alter their start date depending on where they are in their cycle. The optimum time we have found to start something new is right after your period while still in the follicular phase. When you sign up, you’ll get the opportunity to customize your start date. Detoxes are more fun with friends! So recruit a buddy (who is on your cycle! haha) to join you so you have someone to share the journey with! (But you definitely can just do it alone too.)
Will I be starving during this detox?
Not at all! There are recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there is room for snacks in between. Every meal is delicious and created by a fabulous chef to nourish your body from the inside out. This program is not about starvation or deprivation, and we are not counting calories or dwelling on carbs. In fact, we believe starvation is incredibly detrimental for many women, especially for women who have hormonal imbalances (which is common with detoxification issues!).
I’m struggling with fatigue, weight loss resistance, acne, mood imbalances and other signs of hormonal imbalance. Is this detox program good for me?
Yes, yes, yes! Hormonal issues are our jam. And we have a very specific way of addressing this super important topic. We start addressing hormonal imbalances by first optimizing liver and detox function through this Love Your Liver Seasonal Detoxes, following up with hormonal and neurotransmitter balancing protocol through our Healthy Hormones Group Program, and then addressing gut health next with our HealthyU Membership Community. We’ve seen MAJOR success with this approach, even for ourselves!
Can I still workout during the program?
Please workout during the program! If you feel tired or have low energy, exercising can help restore both strength and energy. During this program, you will be eating protein and drinking plenty of liquids, so if you’re already exercising, there’s no reason to stop! However, detoxing too rapidly (which we will help you avoid!) can place a stress on the body. So we provide guidance in the program on how to alter your physical activity based on your experience with the detox throughout the 18 day period. Please consult with your doctor if you have any specific concerns about your health.
What sort of proteins will I be eating?
You will have the option for plant or animal-based proteins, which will be listed out for you in your recipes and suggested meals. There are so many “clean eating protein sources” to choose from you won’t get bored with your options!
Am I only going to be drinking juices and smoothies?
No way! While there are some juices and smoothies for you to choose from, you will also be eating salads, soups, and even desserts that are delicious, nutritious, and will eliminate toxins in your body in a safe and natural way.
Do I have to take supplements, pills, or powders?
Not in this program! We certainly recommend a variety of supplements and herbal detox tools throughout the program to help naturally support the liver, lymphatics, kidneys, and colon but they are not required for participation.
Can I do this if I’m nursing or pregnant?
Yes, but we will help you tailor the program appropriately. Megan has a lot of experience with detoxing during pregnancy and while breastfeeding! However, please consult with your doctor prior to starting this program if you have any health concerns.
Will I feel weak during the program?
A lot of people feel amazing during and after the detox! But it depends on your overall state of health. In the beginning, your body may go through a “healing phase” to re-balance and let go of toxicity. It is important to listen to your body through this program, and we will be here to support you with that. We definitely don’t want to place extra stress on your body by detoxing too fast! But to be honest, there are many people who find that the detox exposes some underlying health issues that need further investigation. This is really common with hormonal imbalances! If this is you, we are here to further support you with our Healthy Hormones Group Program.
I don’t eat gluten or dairy. How can this program help me?
Many people who eat very “clean” already still have room to empty out the pipes with an elimination diet and take their healthy habits to the next level. It’s so common that we hear people be surprised by how much they detox during the program despite having a “great diet”! Natural detoxing through an elimination diet and daily detox tools is powerful and can benefit most of us who live in the modern chemical-laden environment.
I have a known medical condition. Is this still safe for me?
While this program is based on supporting natural detoxification rather than forcing a detox, it is still advised that you consult your physician before beginning this or any program.
