I love it when I find DIY recipes that are easy, cheap, and equally as effective as their chemically-laden, store-bought counterparts…and this recipe fits that bill! homemade glass and window cleaner uses just 2 ingredients so it literally costs pennies to make. It takes only a few minutes to get ready and it leaves your mirrors and windows super clean and streak free.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup white vinegar (I bet you can use apple cider vinegar but I’ve never personally tried it)
- 3 cups water
Steps:
1. Pour your vinegar and water into a spray bottle. I re-purposed an old glass vinegar bottle and just added a spray top from a plastic bottle (I prefer glass but it’s not necessary).
2. Shake well before use.
3. Spray the mixture on the mirror/window you are cleaning and then wipe surface with a paper towel or a microfiber towel.
4. Follow up with another dry paper towel or microfiber towel so that the surface is completely dry.
Thanks for sharing this receipt with us. I never used any homemade cleaning product. This one sounds pretty easy to make it, so I am gonna try it out!
That’s awesome! Let me know how it goes 🙂
