This will be a quick post but I absolutely had to share this tea blend with you all!
For as tired as most of us are, it’s still so common for folks to struggle with falling and staying asleep. For a lot of us, laying down in bed is a cue for us to suddenly remember all the things we have to get done! Not to mention, (and maybe this is just me, but I’m guessing not!) I tend to get in bed and hope that I’m asleep pretty much immediately…because I have to make the most of that time!
I stumbled across this tea blend since restarting night shift work this week. I’m always looking for natural things that I can incorporate into my “wind down” routine for whatever time it is that I’m getting to sleep. This tea *definitely* gets me sleep readying. But I love that I wake up recharged (well, in most cases!) instead of groggy.
I will most definitely be leaving this tea blend as part of my bedtime ritual, long after I’m done with nights!

The ingredients are easy:
1. 1 tablespoon valerian root tea
2. 1 tablespoon lavender
3. 1 tablespoon chamomile flowers
Combine in a small teapot and brew for 5 minutes. You can add a bit of honey and/or coconut milk to sweeten it up!
Sweet Dreams!
